By Bryan Thomas Published September 17, 2018 10:09:11The NFL’s Fake-News Problem, according to NFL Media’s senior VP of communications, Brian McCarthy, was not a problem in the past.
“This was an issue when we first started in 2011,” McCarthy said in a video message to the media.
“But as time went on, the problem got worse and worse.
Now, it’s a bigger problem than ever.
And it’s even bigger than the NFL.
I think the NFL, and the league, has to come up with a solution to address this problem, and I believe they’re already thinking about that.”
The NFL said in its most recent quarterly filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has a $2 billion program to fix its fake-sports problem.
In the most recent filing, the NFL said that its $2.1 billion program was the “largest ever” in terms of assets and revenue.
In its most recently quarterly filing, McCarthy said the NFL has about 10,000 employees.
