AqualunaMedia, a brand-new company created by the makers of the original “Aqualunas” video game, is planning to launch its own video platform for creators in January, according to a statement released to The Irish Times.
The new platform, which will launch in January 2019, will provide creators with the means to monetise their work via YouTube, Amazon Video and other video platforms, according the statement.
It will also allow them to monetize their work through social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as on traditional media platforms.
The company said the launch will coincide with the release of its third game, “Aquadropos”, which will be released on March 30.
AqualunityMedia’s business model is based around selling a video-on-demand service to creators who have created content, according its website.
Its aim is to create a platform that is not dependent on the traditional media platform.
“AqualuneMedia is an independent, self-funded company and has been established to provide creative content creators with an easy way to monetising their work,” the company said.
“The launch of our new service will allow us to leverage our brand and platform to bring our creative content to an ever growing audience and grow the company.”

I’m a writer, not a broadcaster’As the creator of the Aqualunos game, the team at the studio said that its goal was to create content that was not dependent upon the traditional mediums, and to offer the opportunity to the creators to monetised their work using their own platform.
However, the new service was not solely designed to be a creator-driven platform.
The company said it will be able to connect creators with traditional media outlets to help them promote their work, and also offer opportunities for viewers to interact with their work.”
