As the creative media revolution continues to grow and become increasingly relevant to more people, the skills required to work in the industry have increased exponentially.
A new generation of creative media interns are finding that their skills can be utilized for different types of creative endeavors, from the print media to television and film.
The number of interns currently working in creative industry has risen by more than 300 percent over the past decade, and more than 25 percent of new hires in the field are creative, according to the Creative Industries Association (CIA).
This year, more than 1,000 interns are expected to be hired across the U.S., and many are applying for jobs that could be critical to the success of the industry.
Some of the top creative media internship openings in the country are located in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.
