Parma have agreed a fee of around €15m for Juventus star Fabio Cannavaro, sources in the Italian Serie A have told Football Italian.
The 28-year-old is set to sign a one-year deal with the Nerazzurri, the source said.
The Italian giants are in the market for a centre-back after signing Parma’s Pazzini, as well as Real Madrid’s David Villa and Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
The 27-year old is widely expected to sign for Juventus, having left Juve in the summer of 2018 after he rejected a new contract offer of €18m a year.
The signing of Cannavarro is a major coup for the Bianconeri, as they look to bolster their defence and attack in the transfer market this summer.
The 24-year -old started his career at Juventus and has also played for Milan, Udinese and Fiorentina.
The defender also featured for the Italian national team in the recent 2018 World Cup.
